Pick up the Poo Campaign

Minot, ND- The Minot Park District is launching a Pick up the Poo Campaign to remind pet owners of the importance of cleaning up after their pets.

“We love our four-legged friends and family members here at the Minot Park District.” Says Elly DesLauriers, Minot Parks Director of Marketing and Development.  “This campaign is just a reminder for everyone to pick up after your dog.  We know it’s not the most glamorous part of having a pet but for the health and cleanliness of our community it is imperative.”

The campaign will include increased signage throughout the parks as well as the trails including the Dakota Bark Park.  Minot Park staff will also be increasing clean-up within the park system.

“We want to remind everyone that we have pet waste stations and receptacles throughout our park and trail system.” Says, DesLauriers.  “If you find an area that is lacking a station, please contact our office and we will look to add more to that location.”
