The Minot Park District Opens Registration for Summer Youth Recreation Programs

Registration is now open for the Minot Park District’s summer youth recreation programs, offering a variety of opportunities for kids to stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy a fun and engaging summer. Programs available this season include Youth T-Ball, Baseball, Softball, Fastpitch, Tennis, Fitness Gym, and Art Classes, giving youth a chance to explore sports, creativity, and physical activity throughout the summer months. The Youth Fastpitch season will begin the week of June 1, with all other youth recreation programs beginning the week of June 8.

“Parks and recreation play an important role in improving the quality of life in our community,” said Ashley Gathman, Director of Marketing and Development for the Minot Park District. “Programs like these give youth the opportunity to stay active, build friendships, and enjoy meaningful experiences that help strengthen our community.”

The Minot Park District will also offer Spring Track and Summer Olympics again this summer, with Spring Track beginning in May and Summer Olympics beginning in June. These programs are free and do not require pre-registration.

The Minot Park District also remains committed to making recreation accessible to local families by offering no-questions-asked youth scholarships to help ensure every child has the opportunity to participate in programs. Scholarships are available at the Minot Park District office, located at 420 3rd Ave SW.
