Visit Woodland Trail for Minot Parks fifth annual Pumpkin Walk! Stroll the path filled with lit jack-o-lanterns on October 11th & 12th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. This event is free to attend.
We need your pumpkins! Help us transform Woodland trail! Our goal is
to gather 1,000 carved pumpkins from local businesses and individuals. You provide the pumpkins we will take care of the rest!
Friday, October 11th & Saturday, October 12th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Woodland Trail.
Pumpkin Pledge:
Our goal is to fill Woodland Trail with 1,000 Jack-O-Lanterns! We will provide lights and
set up. All you will need to do is drop off carved pumpkins on Friday, October 11th. Drop-off
times are from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Make your pledge today by emailing
ashley@minotparks.com or calling the office at (701) 857-4136.
Donate 10 or more pumpkins and you will receive signage at your pumpkin display with
your business’ name. Minot Parks will provide the signage.
Drop Off:
Drop-off will take place on Friday, October 11th from 10:00am – 3:00 pm. Please bring all
pumpkins to Woodland Trail. If you are unable to drop off your pumpkins during this time,
please call our office at (701)857-4136 to make a special arrangement.
Pick Up:
Want to keep your pumpkins? You will be able to pick them up anytime on Sunday,
October 13th. After that all pumpkins left will be disposed of.
Carving Tips:
In order to keep the carved pumpkins fresh throughout the entire event, we ask that
the pumpkins are carved no earlier than Monday, September 30th.

Tip 1: Carve your pumpkins no earlier than MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th – later if possible, so they stay fresh for the event.
Tip 2: Clean out the insides of the pumpkins well. Be sure there are no seeds or stringy
material left inside to mold.
