13 Apr Minot Park District to Host “The More You Know” Informational Event
The Minot Park District will host a community informational event on May 20, 2026, from 5:30pm –7:30pm at Oak Park. This open-house style event is designed to give residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposed sales tax initiative and the future of Minot’s parks, trails, and facilities.
Community members are encouraged to stop by at any time during the event to review plans up close and have one-on-one conversations with Minot Park District board members and staff. The event format allows attendees to ask questions, gather information, and gain a clearer understanding of how the proposal would support maintenance of existing amenities as well as future capital improvement projects.
“This is a great opportunity for community members to ask questions, connect with our board and staff, and learn more about what’s being proposed,” said Elly DesLauriers. “We want people to feel informed on the proposal as they head into the June 9 vote.”
