Minot Parks Set to Celebrate Parks and Recreation Month
Minot, ND- This July join Minot Parks for Parks and Recreation Month, as we celebrate how Minot is stronger, more vibrant and more resilient because of parks and recreation. A variety of activities are planned for residents of all ages and abilities- including a district wide Scavenger Hunt, Build A Bubble at Oak Park, Birding Tour at Woodland Trail, Kite Flying at the Soccer Complex and a Cardboard Canoe Race at the Roosevelt Park Pool.
Minot Parks is celebrating Park and Recreation Month by inviting the community to share their experiences, memories, and stories about what parks and recreation means to them. With anything from kite flying to building a cardboard canoe, there are plenty of ways to celebrate.
“The goal of the Minot Park District is to improve the quality of life for our citizens of all ages and abilities,” says Elly DesLauriers, Director of Marketing and Development for the Minot Park District. “This July we are excited to celebrate our parks, facilities, programs and events with our community and continue to move forward together as a vibrant community.”
