Minot Parks Announces 7th Annual Pumpkin Walk, Expanding to Three Nights

Minot, ND— Minot Parks is excited to announce the return of the 7th annual Pumpkin Walk, taking place October 9, 10 and 11 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm each evening at Woodland Trail.

The Pumpkin Walk has grown into a beloved fall tradition in the Minot community, bringing thousands of visitors to Woodland Trail for a magical stroll surrounded by glowing jack-o-lanterns. Due to the event’s continued growth and strong attendance, Minot Parks is expanding the Pumpkin Walk to three nights in 2026.

“This event truly wouldn’t be possible without our amazing community,” said Elly DesLauriers, Minot Parks Executive Director. “From everyone who donates pumpkins and helps bring the trail to life, to the families, friends and community members who come out to enjoy it, the Pumpkin Walk is something we all create together. We’re incredibly grateful for the support that has helped this event grow into such a special fall tradition.”

This year, Minot Parks is aiming to fill the trail with 2,000 carved pumpkins and is asking the community to help make that goal possible. Businesses and individuals who pledge 10 or more pumpkins will have their name or logo displayed along the Pumpkin Walk trail.

Visitors can enjoy a free fun fall evening as they stroll through the illuminated trail, with food trucks and warm drinks available throughout the event.

The 2026 Pumpkin Walk is sponsored by JLG Architects.
