Winter Events
Roosevelt Park Zoo & the Minot Park District are welcoming the New Year with a special Zoo Years Eve event! Join us on a magically lit walk through the Tiger Trail and in to the African Savanna.

-$5 per family- includes up to 2 adults age 18+ and children under 18 (Zoo membership are not valid for this event)
**The cats will have access to the outdoor habitat and the day room, weather permitting, but their visibility isn’t guaranteed as they can freely choose where to spend their time.

Kid’s Night Out / Parent’s Night Off
Join us on January 27th at the Souris Valley Golf Course Pro Shop (2400 14th Ave SW, Minot, ND 58701) for a fun-filled evening!
Parents, drop off your children in grades K-5 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and enjoy a well-deserved night off. We’ll have a variety of activities, including board games, card games, arts and crafts, and much more for your kids to enjoy.
Please note that iPads, tablets, and outside games/crafts will not be allowed. Pizza will be provided, however children with dietary restrictions are welcome to bring their own sack dinner- please be mindful of other children’s allergies (i.e. nuts).
Drop-off begins at 4:45 PM, please walk your child inside so we can ensure that we have emergency contact information. Pick-up is by 8:00 PM and an ID will be required for pick-up. Our staff is CPR and First Aid certified to ensure your child’s safety throughout the event.

Ice Cream For Breakfast Day
The first Saturday of February is Ice Cream for Breakfast day! Join us for ice cream, all your favorite toppings, coffee, hot cocoa, and board games! After you get your morning fuel, rent a tube for $5.00 and head down our sledding hill!
